Steve Daumerie

CEO & Founder


Originally from Belgium, Mr. Daumerie is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Waffy’s Group, and is the original founder of the Waffy’s concept and its recipes. As CEO of the Waffy’s Group, Mr. Daumerie has been involved in all aspects of development, marketing, sales, infrastructure and operations related to the Waffy’s concept. Mr. Daumerie’s talent and creativity in the kitchen and knowledge of food products and operations, as well as his interpersonal and business vision skills, constitute the driving force behind the Waffy’s concept. Prior to his involvement with Waffy’s, Mr. Daumerie was a Senior Consultant with Ariba, Inc., a leader of spend-management solutions for large business organizations. There, he assisted with the management of strategic sourcing projects, supplier management and e-sourcing technology and training for Fortune 500 clients throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America. Mr. Daumerie is fluent in English, Spanish and French and completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing and International Business from Gannon University.

Krystel Borg

CFO & Co-Founder


Originally from France, Ms. Borg is Chief Operations Officer of Waffy’s Group, and is a co-founder of the Waffy’s Concept. Mrs. Borg is involved in all aspects of Waffy’s operations, implementing quality control, efficiency and accounting measures to streamline operations and optimize sales. She has also played an integral role in creating the vision and business plans for the Waffy’s Concept. Prior to her involvement with Waffy’s Group, Ms. Borg was an Operations Analyst with Butler International, a publicly traded company offering global engineering, design and IT solutions across a wide variety of industries. Ms. Borg’s professional experience also includes work as an International Procurement Manager with as, a Top 500 U.S.-based internet company. Ms. Borg is fluent in English and French; she completed a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Business Consulting, and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA), Magna Cum Laude, with a double major in International Business and Marketing.

Don Morrison



Don Morrison is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in retail, restaurant and franchise industries. He has been involved in the growth and development of several businesses, including American Eagle Outfitters, from 1 to 165 stores (as President/CEO), Sundance Catalog Company (as Executive Director), and Bear Creek Corporation (as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing) and EVP of Vocelli Pizza, a 120 store pizza- delivery franchisor.

Mr. Morrison is bringing his years of experience in refining best practices to Waffy’s to build a best-in-class, highly scalable franchise support system utilizing and leveraging technology to increase revenues, lower operating expenses and to improve the customer experience.
